Karl and Kendra met in April 2007…

Months prior, Karl had emailed Kendra online through a web site. At the time, Kendra no longer affiliated herself with the site and didn’t get his email until MONTHS later!   She finally replied to his e-mail.   Karl received the e-mail and was shocked that after all those months, she had finally replied.

Karl and Kendra began talking via telephone and the Internet. Most days, their conversations were 5+ hours long. They both decided there was something there that needed to be pursued.  The conversations were so in-depth and very real.

When they met face to face, they both were a bit taken back.  They were each other’s opposite!  Karl a non-structured, short, talkative, live day-to-day type guy, while Kendra a very structured, fluffy, shy, plan for the rest of your life type girl. Despite the differences, things went great!

Kendra moved to Washington in July of 2007 from Southern California.  Before making the trek to Seattle, Karl and Kendra went to Las Vegas.   While there, Karl proposed to Kendra at a bar after a few drinks.  He thought it would be a great idea to get married in a chapel by Elvis.  Kendra turned him down with a big fat No.

After the Las Vegas trip, Karl and Kendra headed up to Washington to settle in their place in the country, something new to Kendra.  From then on, they grew closer and closer, realizing the deep love they held for one another.

Karl proposed on December 26th,2007 to Kendra.  They had been talking about marriage for sometime, but he finally popped the big question on MySpace! He knew that would be right up Kendra’s alley, since she is a big-time computer nerd! Needless to say, she said “Yes”.

The happy couple was married on August 8th,2008 in Bellevue, Washington.   They love spending time with one another and hope to have their first child by the end of 2010.

The rest will be history in the making…
